in another life i talk about comic books with my dad. i have joined him on his podcast Mega City Book Club, to talk about The Ballad of Halo Jones and Sandman: A Game of You, which we then expanded into a podcast series all of its own, A Handful of Dust. we talk about our love of the books, as well as some of the flaws and issues that have become more obviously problematic to us since we first read the comics (my dad read them when they were first published and I read them in the 00s in my teen years). if you’re into comics, Neil Gaimen, fantasy & sci-fi or representation in comics books and popular culture, then maybe you will enjoy these episodes. we have plans to continue A Handful of Dust looking at different comics from different creators that have been significant to both of us.
